I am your Host. My name is Adrian, I’m in my mid-thirties, I live in Utah and am the father of 5 young kids, four girls and one boy. My wife and I have been married for almost 15 years and I have loved every minute of it. While I did have the chance to visit Disneyland twice as a young child, my love for the park didn’t start until I visited at age 19 with my older brother and his young family. Seeing the way his kids reacted and how their eyes lit up over the course of 3 days really sealed the deal for me.
We took our own kids to Disneyland for the first time in 2008 and we’ve all been hooked ever since. We make it back every 1-2 years for a 5 day stay.
In the time since 2008 I’ve also gained a great appreciation for Disney animation and for Walt himself and I plan on sharing some of that interest as we go along.
As a family we feel it is important to spend time together doing wholesome recreational activities and Walt’s realized vision of “family park where parents and children could have fun together” seems to mesh with our ideals quite nicely. That is not to say that there aren’t things that I would change, but we can get into those topics later.
So that is it for a short introduction. When did you gain your love for the Disney Parks? How would you rate your love or interest in other Disney-related properties? Leave a comment below. I’d love to hear from you.
